Description:
We are seeking a full-time Technical Associate for our Operations team managing projects across the country. The Technical Associate performs a wide range of mid-complex to complex tasks including field assignments based on client requirements.
Responsibilities:• Consults with operations managers and Supervisors for technical issues being experienced and recommends follow up actions• Provides operator training and assists in plant operations where needed• Supports new facility project start-ups• Conducts troubleshooting of existing sites• Supports technical needs for evaluations, training, and maintenance• Support the development of operational manuals, guidelines, standard operating procedures, reports, operations logs, and related records• Review of PCM data for sites and recommends corrective actions where needed• Lead preparation of site SOPs and operating guidelines• Audit site SOPs and operating guidelines to assure they are current and update if needed• Leads site specific operator and sire supervision technical training• Participates in the Ramboll W&WT Technical Network• Having good knowledge of the practices used, and the equipment required in the O&M of industrial facilities and ability to make routine laboratory and field tests for control of plant operations.• Possibly operating a variety of the following types of equipment: forklift, aerial or scissor lifts, generator, compressors, pumps etc.• Participating actively in creating a safety culture at the jobsite.• Adhering to the policies and standards set forth in the Firm’s Project Delivery Manual (PDM), Employee Manual and Corporate Health & Safety Manual.• Perform special projects assigned by management

For this role, we believe your starting point is:• High School Diploma / Vocational training or equivalent.• Typically, 5+ years’ experience wastewater treatment technical or operational experience• Equipment maintenance experience desired.• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.• Wastewater operator licenses not required, but preferred.• Must have and maintain valid driver license.• Having the ability to perform basic control laboratory testing and understanding and applying results.• Having good record-keeping skills, being comfortable with computers and computer-controlled equipment, and capable of learning new operating, maintenance, analytical or computer skills
