Job Description:
The Systems Engineer (Windows) will be responsible for engineering,design, integration, deployment, testing, certification, patching, andaddressing interoperability issues of the base operating system and allsupport libraries, components, and application dependencies.
Position requirements and duties of the Systems Engineer (Windows):
Design, implement, and provide ongoing support of the WindowsInfrastructure.Engineer, integrate, design, and deploy various Windows componentsand expert knowledge in Active Directory, Group Policy, digitalcertificates, multi factor integration, DNS and DHCP.Create and maintain bare-metal and virtual machines with theappropriate distribution of Windows and network configuration, usingtools that include Windows Deployment Services (WDS), MicrosoftEndpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), System Center ConfigurationManager (SCCM), Hyper-V, SQL Server, Windows 2019/2022, and Windows11.Provision and configure required software onto servers, such as webservers and databases such as SQL Server.Possess proficient understanding of networks, storage, and LAN/WANsystems and applications as well as their dependencies.Work in hybrid environment of virtualized and cloud platforms.Use native, add-on tools, and third-party tools to troubleshootmalfunctions and optimizations. Use tools include resource kits,development kits, and commercial tools.Provide 3rd level support.Integrate systems with Windows as it applies to authentication andcore services dependencies such single sign-on and Active Directory.Engineer and implement solutions for multi factor authenticationwith FBI standardized software and hardware.Document system configurations to include passwords, accesscontrols, version and revision numbers, patch levels, and inventoryto include hostnames, TCP/IP addresses, number of processors andcores, memory, and license keys.Required Skills:
Must have a current Top-Secret Clearance with the capability ofobtaining SCI / CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirement.
A minimum of Microsoft Certified Professional/Technology Associate(MTA) or equivalent certification.
5+ years of experience.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor\'s degree.
Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu ofeducation.
