　　The Motorola Solutions team comprises Sales, Project Management, SystemsEngineering and System Technologist personnel working together in a highperformance culture, often with demanding cycle times and high customerexpectations as we work to deploy mission critical communication systems. Manyof these systems are designed around the APCO Project 25 communicationsstandard, often with interfaces to other critical customers' sub-systems.With the growth of data services some of our customer's mobile wirelessnetworks are being enhanced with connectivity to LTE infrastructure leveragingcompelling applications and live mobile video, supplementing our traditionalcore voice and narrow-band data networks. The Senior Systems Engineer willtake responsibility for and oversee all technical aspects of an assignedproject from award until system acceptance.

　　Role Responsibilities:

　　Final Design and implementation of the radio network includinginfrastructure, subscribers and mobile backhaul

　　Customer presentations

　　System staging

　　System acceptance testing

　　Radio coverage testing and interference mitigation

　　Radio system licensing (ISED)

　　Preparation of system fleet-map, encryption and radio programming templates

　　Complete system documentation

　　Live system upgrades

　　Ensuring the integrity of the architecture/design

　　Specific Knowledge/Skills:

　　Experience/knowledge in radio communication systems, radio propagation,RF, wireless or broadband/LTE highly desirable

　　Experience, good understanding, and working knowledge of IP networking,network design methodologies & troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP,L2/L3, MPLS) highly desirable

　　Certifications through CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA-Junos, NokiaNRS1, CCNA or similar, highly desirable

　　Previous knowledge and experience working with some or all of Juniper,Aviat, Cisco, Nokia/Alcatel, Xtreme, Ceragon, highly desirable

　　Experience directly working with end-user customers is essential

　　Excellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics tonontechnical audiences is essential

　　Experience/knowledge in line of sight microwave propagation is desirable

　　Additional Requirements:

　　Experienced technical professional (Professional ngineer) with multipleyears of experience in Communications Systems design and deployment - alongwith the following mandatory requirements:

　　the ability to present confidently and persuasively to internal and externalcustomer

　　a solid understanding of communications systems and the Project Managementenvironment
