Description:

　　Actalent's client is hiring a structural engineer to assist their BD team with the influx of projects coming in.

　　Day to day:

　　Perform detailed calculations under the direct supervision of the Lead Structural Engineer.

　　Coordinate structural design with project requirements.

　　Collaborate and communicate effectively with various disciplines.

　　Assist in the development of project drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software

　　Participate in field surveys and inspections of existing structures to gather project data

　　Review and organize structural shop drawings

　　Assists with other duties assigned by Discipline Lead Engineers and/or Project Managers.

　　Attend seminars to broaden exposure and remain current on the industry

　　Skills & Qualifications:

　　B.S.C.E; M.S.C.E preferred

　　Relevant internship/job experience related to transportation engineering.

　　Ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization.

　　Ability to handle multiple assignments.

　　Experience working with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

　　Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others

　　Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
