　　The Global Engineering Infra & Platform Services (GE-IPS) team at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team!

　　The Systems Engineer is a hands-on Systems Support position responsible for all aspects of the infrastructure support team and the implementation and maintenance of current and future technologies used to support 24x7x365 News, Sports and/or Entertainment Production Environments. In this role, the hired individual will maintain broadcast-related IT Infrastructure systems and help to identify new technologies and tools to support and improve operations. He or she will provide technical assistance for daily operations of mission-critical systems.

　　The Systems Engineer works closely with the Global Engineering Infra & Platform Services group on all aspects related to their assigned area of responsibility.

　　YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

　　You will be responsible for providing day-to-day support and monitoring of all Global Engineering on-prem and Cloud Infrastructure technology in the US and Mexico.

　　Responsible for performing preventive maintenance on all systems and making sure those tasks are completed in a timely manner.

　　You will have direct involvement in incidents or problems (irrespective of priority) that cause service impact.

　　Serves as part of the Engineering support escalation group for system performance, stability, and security for systems deployed by Univision.

　　Responsible for overall system and infrastructure availability and develop a resilient infrastructure to reduce failures.

　　Monitors incident tracking system for timely resolution of critical issues. Ensures service levels are met.

　　YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)

　　Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent experience.

　　Minimum of 5 years in an IT profession, preferably with a media company or other broadcast operational environments.

　　3+ years deploying, configuring, and solving cloud infrastructure in either GCP, AWS or Azure.

　　Experience supporting 24/7, continuous availability production and managed environments.

　　Experience with Cloud computing, Virtualization, Network, Storage and Operating Systems (Windows & Linux).

　　Experience with continuous integration and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

　　Knowledge of networking, firewalls & load balancers.

　　Knowledge of best practices for IT operations in an always-on, always-available service model.

　　Display personal flexibility to achieve business goals.

　　Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical staff.

　　Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, accurate, organized.
