　　Amazon Linux is the most used Linux distribution for customers of Amazon Web Services (AWS). It also powers Amazon internally. Our team's mission is to ensure that highest quality of every Amazon Linux release. In our team you have the opportunity to make the Amazon Linux distribution a better product for all customers.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　In this role you will design test plans to test Amazon Linux releases. You will use technical expertise to create, execute, and optimize these test plans. You will design and build test automation that makes testing easy and provides inside into test results during the whole release process. You will influence testing strategy of your own team and related teams.

　　Our vision for testing is automation first. We build tools and services that make it easy and pleasant for developers to release high quality software. We advice them on test plans, test strategy, how to evaluate test results, and how to make tests more meaningful.

　　We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

　　Dresden, DEU

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Experience in automation testing

　　Experience with at least one Linux distribution

　　Several years of quality assurance engineering experience

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

　　Programming experience, preferably Python or a similar scripting language
