SUMMARY:   System Design Engineers develop or rework new or existing conveyor systems using company products.  Individuals in this position work from customer requests, order requirements or other specifications and arrive at final system layout design details utilizing CAD software and engineering calculations as required.  System Design Engineers are capable of working independently and may be assigned responsibility for a customer order as a Lead Engineer.    

　　*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following.   

　　Lay out conveyor systems to meet customer requirements.Identify new product requirements and work with the Design Team to complete.Prepare manifests of all parts required for conveyor systems, work with Sales Team to enter.Create engineering drawings for use in proposals and installation.Create bills of material and routings for use in cost estimates and manufacturingCreate owner's manuals, test procedures, and other engineering deliverables as requiredPerform engineering computations for sizing equipment componentsProvide technical support to shop personnel and installation personnel.Provide field support of Company products as requiredPerform Lead Engineer role for assigned sales orders including customer interaction, vendor communication, and project management as requiredOther duties as assignedSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

　　This job has no direct supervisory responsibility although individuals in this position may be required to provide direction to CAD Designers who are supporting the assigned work.

Sometimes, travel can come on short notice and may include weekends or holidays. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

　　Bachelor Degree and 1 year experience or Associate Degree in engineering field and (4) year's relative experience.  

　　LANGUAGE SKILLS:

　　Good verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings / electrical schematics. 

　　MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:                                

　　Proficient in algebra and geometry as is required to solve engineering problems.

　　COMPUTER SKILLS:

　　AutoCAD experience.

　　Excel experience.

　　SolidWorks experience in detailing and designing.

　　Inventor/BIM/Revit 3D experience.

　　PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

　　While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. Employee spends some time on shop floor. The majo
