A week in the life of aSystems Administrator at the medical systems testing facility:
Support engineering solutions and provide hands-on customer support
Engage face to face and virtually with end users on solving a variety of technical challenges
Coordinate with DHA system admin personnel to ensure that remotely provided services (e.g., SCCM, Active Directory, etc.) are properly configured and deployed.
Support AoAs in infrastructure modernization and automation
Serve as a stakeholder for hosting test events at a Government medical testing lab
Verify conduct of patches, upgrades, and modifications of MS Windows and Linux systems
Establish and maintain procedural documentation and KB articles and share knowledge through training and mentorship of team members
Coordinate with testers and program technical staff to maintain testing capability in an operational state.
Job Requirements
U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Security+ certification
Familiarity with Cisco systems including chassis, blades, and routers
Minimum 2-4 years with JOMIS/TMIP-J systems operations support
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in MS systems administration and working on complex systems and software programs and networks
Experience leading or supporting Analysis of Alternative (AoA) exercises
Experience working within a disciplined, process based SDLC
Experience in the DoD healthcare sector
Experience managing and mitigating system security risks
Virtualization experience using VMware / vSphere
Will accept technical certification credit for military experience, where possible

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $72,000 - 121,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
