Job Overview
The KDP-I Global Senior Project Manager is a key member of our organization. In this role, you will assume a leadership position in developing, implementing, and continuously improving company operations for Beverage Concentrate manufacture. This individual will have oversight to projects that will have substantial business impact to the KDP enterprise in productivity and reduced complexity. These projects have a definite end date with concrete deliverables and may be more tactical in nature. Your responsibilities will encompass translating business plans into clear streamlined processes and KPIs into achieving the enterprise long-term strategy for innovation, renovation, and productivity. This role is heavily involved coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to lead projects through the commercialization process. You will work closely with all functions to manage a broad portfolio of projects across the entire value chain. The Innovation Project Manager must be able to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, managing alignment of expectations across teams.
What you will do:
Consult with senior leaders across R&D, Commercial, Finance and Marketing to build an agile process for innovation, renovation, and productivity projects, aligned with KDP strategies.
Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
Guide projects through the stage gate process and support after-action reviews while delivering concrete results and keeping them on time through the process.
Own quarterly innovation forum with cross functional teams, including capturing and disseminating next steps.
Deploy effective project management techniques, including GANTT charts, chartering, setting milestones, and progress reporting.
Collaborate with other departments on continuous improvement projects that contribute to organizational efficiency and effectiveness and eliminate nonvalue added tasks.
Requirements
Strong project management and facilitation skills, with a passion for continuous improvement.
Experience/exposure to R&D, master data, operations, and commercial functions.
Be resilient through transformational change across all levels of the enterprise.
Ability to lead and motivate others to achieve shared goals across all levels of the organization.
Effectively collaborate and influence project team members through strong interpersonal/communication skills
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management or a related field.
Strong experience with Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel as well as data visualization tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry is a plus.
