Summary of Position:This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of the city's information technology infrastructure. This includes performing necessary maintenance and monitoring to provide continuous network availability, security, server performance, and availability of all IT and GIS services and infrastructure. A Systems Administrator also aids the citys GIS/Systems Analyst Division in technical issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specializedtraining in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high schooleducation.Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
