Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will manage a computer and network enclave and ensure the integration

  of IT programs and services; developing solutions to integration/interoperability issues; designing, developing, trouble shooting, and managing IT security systems at our JEB Little Creek, VA and Norfolk Naval Base location.

  Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

   Collaborating with network architects to develop solutions for integration/interoperability with

  other networks.

   Collaborating with network architects to build and maintain servers and optimize network performance.

   Generating and running simulation models for future applications and evaluating and verifying impacts on the current and planned enclave IT architecture.

   Developing and presenting plans for integrating new server technology into existing enclave architecture.

   Maintain processes and procedures, while adhering to established policies.

   Monitor new complex systems.

   Configure and install systems hardware or software and maintain server and domain security requirements.

   System administration functions on both Windows Enterprise Server and RedHat Enterprise Linux Server operation system platforms.

   Collaborating with network architects to develop solutions for integration/interoperability with other networks.

   Planning and coordinating the installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of enclave management software and related enclave-level

   changes to the systems infrastructure.

   Spotting inefficiencies in an organization’s computer network and making recommendations to address weaknesses.

   Performing routine network audits.

   Troubleshooting issues with the enclaves network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and other network segments.

   Ensure compliance with applicable mandates and policies.

   Apply DoD and OEM Cybersecurity Best Practices and conduct post configuration System functionality analysis.

  Minimum Qualifications:

   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT and 4+ years of experience; Additional experience may substitute for degree

  Active Secret clearance - preferred with SSBI.

   Certified Network and Server Administrator Certification; Linux Certification;

   Windows10 Certification; Server 2016 Certification

   Knowledge of Microsoft System Administration and/or Linux Administration

   Candidate must possess an active DOD Secret level security clearance upon hire.

   Knowledge of unmanned systems networks.

  Preferred Qualifications:

   IAT Level III Certification (e.g. CISSP or equivalent)For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law. ManTech may choose not to apply for a license for such individuals whose access to export-controlled technology or software source code may require authorization and may decline to proceed with an applicant on that basis alone.
