Required Skills & Qualifications:
Clearance: Top Secret
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a related role
Certification: Microsoft Certified Professional/Technology Associate (MTA) or equivalent
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Responsibilities:
As a Systems Engineer, you'll be entrusted with pivotal responsibilities including:
Engineering Excellence: Design, integrate, and deploy Windows components, ensuring impeccable functionality across the Windows Infrastructure.
Expert Stewardship: Serve as the go-to expert for all Windows environments, addressing complex issues and driving continuous improvement.
Infrastructure Optimization: Engineer, integrate, and deploy various Windows components with advanced knowledge in Active Directory, Group Policy, digital certificates, multi-factor authentication, DNS, and DHCP.
Deployment & Maintenance: Create, maintain, and configure bare-metal and virtual machines, employing tools such as Windows Deployment Services, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, System Center Configuration Manager, Hyper-V, SQL Server, and Windows 2016/2019.
Security Enhancement: Evaluate, enhance, and maintain information security within the Windows infrastructure, ensuring robust protection against potential threats.
Hybrid Environment Management: Navigate seamlessly in hybrid environments encompassing virtualized and cloud platforms, ensuring optimized functionality across systems.
Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and rectify critical server issues and performance bottlenecks, leveraging a suite of tools for swift resolutions.
Proactive System Maintenance: Implement proactive measures for system availability, conduct performance tests, and collaborate with developers for optimal system performance.
Scripting & Efficiency: Develop and maintain custom scripts to augment system efficiency, reducing human intervention time and enhancing operational productivity.
Documentation & Support: Generate and update comprehensive technical documentation, providing third-level support and liaising with vendors and internal IT personnel for issue resolution.
Knowledge Transition & Training: Continually share expertise and knowledge with the team, ensuring seamless technology adoption and adherence to industry best practices.
