　　What do you contribute?

　　Welcome to the Rail Infrastructure business unit, where you will shape innovative projects for the future as a System Manager (f/m/d). In this role, you will play a decisive role in the development of customised solutions (hardware and software) for our global customer projects. You will not only rely on technical expertise, but also actively shape the interface with stakeholders, partners, and customers.

　　You develop specific designs for customer projects based on the individual project requirements.

　　Also, you design specific control center solutions for projects in accordance with customer, product, safety and security requirements.

　　You define the software and hardware architecture, manuals, and test procedures.

　　Moreover, you implement, test and commission the complex hardware and software solution.

　　You take part in technical meetings with partners, customers, and other companies.

　　You also communicate and collaborate effectively with various technical and mobility departments.

　　In addition, you identify areas of innovation, improve processes and recognize opportunities to reduce costs.

　　What do you bring along?

　　You hold a university degree (Bachelor) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or a comparable specialization.

　　Also, you have several years of professional experience in system management / system engineering or alternatively in technical project management.

　　You have gained this experience in the railway industry, ideally in the field of control and safety technology.

　　As a result, you have practical expertise in working with relevant standards (e.g., CENELEC) and development processes (e.g., GUIDE process).

　　You are characterized by sound user knowledge of the Java and C programming languages and their development environments.

　　You impress us with very good knowledge of Linux, SUSE, and virtual machines (VM).

　　You have a very good command of English for working with colleagues (f/m/d) and customers all over the world. German language skills are an advantage.
