  DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESMaintenance and installation of electrical systems for BNSF buildings andfacilities.

  MAINTENANCE AND INSTALLATIONInstall and maintain: 1) high voltage (up to 15KV) overhead andunderground distribution systems; 2) low voltage (less than 600 V) forcommercial and industrial installations; 3) HVAC systems, boilers,unit heaters, furnaces. Use fire recovery equipment. Install conduit,wire, lighting systems, electrical services, underground/overheaddevices. Maintain electrical systems of cranes, turntables, lift, andfueling s

  TOOL/EQUIPMENT OPERATIONConstruct and maintain electrical systems with bucket trucks,digger-derricks and trenchers. Use: pole climbers, high precisionmeasuring tools (micrometers, voltmeters, amp meters, recorders),hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.), power tools (drills,power saws, etc

  WORKING CONDITIONS

  Extreme all-weather conditions

  Walk and perform work onuneven surfaces

  Safety-sensitive work environment

  SHIFTS/HOURS

  Full-time(40hrs/wk)

  Subject to on-call, overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays

  TRAVEL

  Frequent and extensive over large geographic area

  Travel to and remain on job sites in designated seniority regionand remain onsitefor extended periods,sometimes days or weeks at atime

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONSAt least 21 years of age, or will be by the anticipated start date listedaboveAbility to report for duty at the designated work locationAble to read, write and communicate (speak, hear and understand) English

  Able to work safely in the above working conditions

  Able toworkthe above shift/hours

  Able to meet the above travel requirements

  Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
