Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a System Development andDeployment (SD&D) Lead supporting the Space Systems Command (SSC)Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) programs in the United States SpaceForce. This position will support the program office as it requires advancedpersistent cyber defenses against nation state threats to operations. Giventhe stove-piped nature of the space enterprise, the Cyber Operationsapproach shall be multipronged. The long-term strategy involves a commonground architecture providing centralized management and control of satelliteoperations through Enterprise Ground Services (EGS), resulting in atruly integrated space enterprise. Collaboration and cooperation across spaceacquisition, space and cyberspace operations, and commanders at all levelsis required to apply a risk-based approach (both mission and system risk)to establish enterprise-wide situational awareness in the cyberspace domain.This is a full-time opportunity located in Colorado Springs, CO

Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to supporting software development andtesting processes for the following:Mission mapping and mission system network visualization.User interface and user experience development.Packet Capture (PCAP) retrieval and analysis.Artifact ingestion for storage, retrieval, analysis, and display.System log filtering and analysis.Case management.Wiki development and management, including technical manual updates.Machine Learning (ML) as applied to Space Anomaly Protocol Decoding andAnalytics (SADA) for Telemetry, Tracking, and Command (TT&C) data analysis.Rapid delivery in small batches, increasing the frequency and pace ofreleases and applying Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery(CD) practices.Collaborative DevSecOps workflow security integration by employing a DevSecOpsapproach and delivering the system with built-in security.Infrastructure-as-a-Code (IaaC) as a practice to enable the cloud'sApplication Programming Interface (API)-driven model to programmaticallyinteract with infrastructure.Production support and maintenance.System compliance with the USSF and SSC security policies in order tosafeguard the system against external and insider threats.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Qualifications:Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret / SCICertifications:SAFe for Teams Certification, & AWS certifications(Associate Solutions Architect, & AWS Specialty Security within a yearof start date) or be able to demonstrate AWS competence using the CLI andBoto.Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a relatedSTEM field.Years' experience: 10+ yearsA minimum of ten years of experience managing IT projectsA minimum of five years of experience managing development teams using Agiledevelopment methodologiePreferred Qualifications:Preferred Education: Master's degree or higher in network engineering, omputer science, computer engineering, or computer security engineeringExperience with the following programs:Manticore out-of-band defensive cyber for "Identify and Detect" capabilitiesKraken in-band defensive cyber for...
