　　Description:

　　The System Alarm Monitor position supports 24/7 operations at facilities in the WMA. This position requires ability to support shift work, weekends, and holidays. This position is the first level of support for internal and external customers using a variety of databases and customer driven procedures. The system alarm monitor will be answering phones, dispatching technicians, entering service requests, troubleshooting issues with customers, and performing various other administrative duties.

　　System alarm monitors must-

　　work independently and as a team

　　can work in a fast based mission critical environment and have attention to detail.

　　multi task and prioritize based on established work flows

　　ability to pick up and retain new information quickly and apply to on the job duties.

　　ability to work with computer systems and experienced in MS office suite

　　Requires -

　　TS/SCI clearance with polygraph REQUIRED

　　High School Diploma or GED with 6-8 years of experience

　　Reliable transportation

　　Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

　　Desired –

　　Previous experience in a security operations center setting

　　Abilities

　　Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.

　　Sitting for extended periods of time.

　　Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.

　　Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.

　　Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

　　Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.

　　Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
