Assess need for any Citrix systemreconfigurations (minor or significant) and execute them if required.Assess the need for XenApp remote access, security, and collaborationsolutions across the organization. Ensure that any XenApp integrationinto company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance,and interface specifications. Set and administer server storage spaceallotments, resource reservations, and directory assistance (i.e. ActiveDirectory, NDS, etc.). Prepare and conduct training and presentationsfor the edification of end-users and other employees whose workflows areaffected by XenApp. Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting ofCitrix servers. Identify and resolve systems issues, includinginstalling and configuring patches and upgrades as required. Identifyand resolve problems affecting Citrix infrastructure performance,efficiency, and availability in a timely manner. Analyze XenAppapplication usage and plan for growth or increases in network capacityand/or licensing. Add, remove, certify, and move new or existingend-user accounts and administer permissions and access rights. Develop,implement and maintain policies, procedures, and associated trainingplans for Citrix system administration and appropriate use. AdministerXenApp applications access and support efforts for remote user through aCitrix Access Gateway. Recommend any additional hardware or softwarerequirements needed for successful Citrix deployments, configuration, ormaintenance. Coordinate feasibility studies for Citrix products underconsideration for purchase, and give advice based on findings. Negotiatecontracts with Citrix software and service providers. Education andExperience High School diploma or equivalent. Certification/LicensureCCNA (Citrix Certified Network Associate) or ability to obtaincertification with first 90 days of employment.
