　　Job Description

　　Teledyne Defense Electronics is seeking a skilled Technician specializing in brazing, furnace systems and hydrogen vacuum systems to join our manufacturing team. As a key player in our production process, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing heat cycles, and the specific requirements of brazing different materials within our manufacturing environment. Your expertise in furnace operations and hydrogen vacuum systems will contribute to the production of high-quality electronic defense components.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Operate and monitor furnaces to ensure precise heating and cooling cycles for metal components to achieve high-quality brazed joints.

　　Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on furnace equipment to prevent malfunctions and downtime.

　　Collaborate with production teams to establish optimal furnace settings for different metals.

　　Manage and maintain hydrogen vacuum systems used in the production process.

　　Troubleshoot and address issues related to vacuum systems, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.

　　Implement preventive maintenance schedules for vacuum equipment.

　　Perform quality checks on brass components to ensure adherence to specifications.

　　Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and address any deviations from quality standards.

　　Document and report any quality issues or abnormalities in the production process.

　　Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.

　　Stay informed about industry regulations and standards related to furnace and vacuum system operations.

　　Qualifications:

　　Proven experience as a Braze Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

　　In-depth knowledge of furnace operations and hydrogen vacuum systems.

　　Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

　　Familiarity with quality control processes and adherence to specifications.

　　Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards in manufacturing.

　　High level of attention to detail

　　Education and Experience:

　　High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or additional education in a relevant field is a plus.

　　Previous experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within the defense or electronics industry.

　　Please note the salary range posted below is a general guideline for this job level and location. When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills.

　　Salary Range:

　　$42,680.00 - $71,280.00
