　　How you’ll contribute

　　The Senior Business Systems Analyst will liaise with IT, R&D teams, and vendors to create and maintain the front end of systems, including a data infrastructure, and to define the business process/logic around data management. This position will engage with key business partners to facilitate the design and delivery of custom technology solutions, consult on technical feasibility, and liaison between cross-functional team members. This role will also manage data intake, storage and transformation of laboratory data, analyze data sets and communicate results.

　　Liaise with IT, R&D teams, and vendors to implement and manage laboratory data technologies, practices, and processes to provide synoptics and analyses of the data associated with the outputs of the R&D team

　　Translate requirements into input for solution architecture; provide input and feedback to software developers and infrastructure engineers

　　Collaborate with IT and vendors to develop Data Exchange/ETL/data lake. Facilitate the design of integrations between technology systems to enable data sharing, process automation, or additional functionality

　　Maintain the front end of a system that can change to accommodate business requirements by thoroughly documenting all systems, data structures, and processes, including data dictionaries and entity relationship models

　　Monitor dashboards and databases for production and R&D data, report on effectiveness and accuracy of systems to collect and display data, and set up feedback systems to optimize processes

　　Work independently to complete data analytics projects related to synoptics and 3D print production

　　Ensure that new technologies released are well understood, documented, and socialized within the laboratory and serve as SME on technology systems owned and operated by the laboratory

　　Identify and assist with evaluation of new and existing technologies for implementation or change to accommodate business requirements

　　Perform all other duties as assigned

　　For this role you will need

　　Minimum Requirements

　　5+ years of experience in business analytics and information management with a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data science, or a related field OR 3+ years of experience in business analytics and information management with a Master's Degree in computer science, data science, or a related field

　　Advanced knowledge in Microsoft SQL including development and refinement of relational database schemas, creation of stored procedures, and extensive knowledge of query design, complex joins, and creation and management of views and other derived elements

　　Strong Statistical Analysis background and familiarity with statistics software tooling and concepts such as ANOVA and T-Tests, standard deviation, regression tests, and sampling methods, as well as correlation, variability, and bias

　　Experience designing and implementing data modeling for visualization, with demonstrated experience creating different types of visualizations for various audience levels

　　Experience with Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) software such as Benchling, IDBS, Labware LIMS, etc. especially with regard to related data management activities, integration, schema management, templating, and normalization

　　Ability to collaborate and learn technologies from various disciplines

　　Ability to manage projects independently from start to finish

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Master’s Degree computer science, data science, or a related field

　　3+ years of experience in application design

　　Experience with Benchling ELN, including Insights, Master Batches, Templates, and the relationship between results tables and insights

　　Experience with data integration solutions (middleware) such as Dell Boomi, Mulesoft, Workato, Informatica, and strong familiarity with the correlation between these tools and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)

　　Experience creating dashboards and data visualizations in PowerBI, and a demonstrated understanding of Power BI datasets, refresh, access and permissions, workspace creation and management, report creation and version control

　　Experience with processing large datasets via machine learning and related technologies such as Azure Machine Learning, Amazon Sage Maker, Tensor Flow, or PyTorch

　　Demonstrated experience with creating predictive modeling solutions to forecast process outputs, especially for manufacturing or other production systems
