You’ll be immersed in the integrated design process and the real world of applying sustainable design principles to ongoing projects. You will be exposed to performance tools such as WUFI, Climate Studio, and Revit Insight. You will gain knowledge of the interdisciplinary connections that align to produce sustainable buildings. Alongside senior specialists, you will become familiar with the requirements that drive high performance building design for our clients.
The Arlington office design team is focused on Building design for the Global US Federal Market which includes unique building types and renovation projects around the country and the world.

Here's What You'll Need:
In pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Engineering, or a Sustainability-related degree from an NAAB or ABET accredited program.
Must be at least a rising Junior
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Working knowledge of Autodesk and Revit programs
Working knowledge of Architectural drawings and components
Basic knowledge of the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural components of a building
United States Citizenship
Ideally, you’ll also have:
3.0 GPA
Interest in attaining LEED AP Certification
Proficiency in research and technical writing
Experience working in an Architectural, Engineering, or Construction Firm
Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
Self-driven time management and organizational skills
