As the Sustainability Communications Corporate Responsibility Vice President you will build integrated public affairs and communications campaigns across earned, owned and paid channels that will help to tell the story of JPMorgan Chase's environmental sustainability strategy. In addition you will develop clear messaging and holistic communications plans by soliciting input across the firm's key business and government relations hubs.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead integrated campaigns that lead a coordinated, proactive narrative that elevates JPMorgan Chase's environmental sustainability strategy reputation and brings awareness of the firm's energy and climate thought leadership.
Proactively identify and pursue storytelling opportunities around the firm's sustainability impact related to generating economic growth and local job creation, including opportunities to leverage third-party validators.
Collaborate and bring together internal stakeholders across lines of business to communicate a holistic sustainability story.
Identify and leverage key internal and external stakeholders (including Non Governmental Organizations, policymakers, etc.) to lead key messages through thought leadership opportunities.
Contribute to the creation, deployment and iteration of firmwide sustainability messaging.
Build and execute integrated communications plans and editorial calendars that shape the firm's external engagement around sustainability key moments.
Support sustainability storytelling across earned, paid, and owned media, in partnership with marketing teams.
Provide creative and strategic guidance to shape events and convenings, which bring together executives, public sector officials, community partners and Non Governmental Organizations.
Ensure clear, consistent and timely communication with teams across JPMorgan Chase to maximize impact, reduce duplication and stay aligned on priorities.
Support ad hoc communications assignments across communications and the Corporate Responsibility department.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
5 plus years of experience leading integrated communications strategies (external communications) for corporations, campaigns or non-profits. Agency or government experience preferred but not required.
Strategic thinker who can work with colleagues across lines of business to meet mutual goals
Excellent project management, organizational skills and strong attention to detail
Proven ability to build effective, collaborative relationships
Sound judgment, strong decision-making skills and ability to advance independently
Commitment to exemplifying the highest standards of integrity and professional excellence
