Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Survey Data Technician to join our growing team! The Survey Data Technician will assist the survey team to manage incoming survey data and to prepare project deliverables. Typical daily tasks include reviewing and processing survey crew data utilizing Microsoft office and Autodesk Civil 3D software. Project deliverables that are typically produced include drawings, maps, spreadsheets, and reports. Responsibiliites: Communicate with field personnel to ensure data standards are being maintained. Communicate with Project Leads to understand data requests and requirements. Move daily documents through LSC workflow process. Responsible for maintaining data document revision history using Synergis Adept software. Proactively provide status updates, discuss challenges, and address data revisions. Perform a wide range of drafting tasks in Autodesk Civil 3D. Prepare plans, layouts, assembly drawings, detail drawings and sketches as directed by Project Leads. Responsible for maintaining accurate design and drawing archives and revision history. Obtain a general understanding of any overall project goals, constraints, and schedule requirements. Support survey crew in a professional and proficient manner Be professional when interacting with clients, contractors, and landowners. Follow all safety procedures put into place. Assist with troubleshooting equipment and other issues that may occur. Requirements: AAS degree in civil survey, drafting and design, engineering, or related field Have an intermediate understanding of AutoCAD (Civil 3d) Understanding of GIS principles. Understanding of document management principles. Ability to learn new software. Completes projects using quality and ethical principles and techniques. Ability to hold and maintain a valid driver's license Ability to pass a DOT and company required drug and alcohol test Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook.
