Description:

　　Will conduct various types of surveying including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivisions, construction stakeouts, etc. Will perform various survey calculations. Will interpret and verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations. Will assist with the preparation of all survey data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys. Will search legal records, survey records, and land titles to obtain property information. Will assist with writing descriptions of surveys for use in deeds, leases, or other legal documents. Will assist with monitoring equipment and survey supplies. Will assist with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks. Will monitor task budget and progress. Will conduct on-site inspections as needed. Will prepare project status and other reports. Will assist in the preparation of proposals. Will assist Project Managers. Will attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc.

　　They can hire multiple. They have a job in Gaylord, so if someone lived near there, that would be ideal. Another location could be Traverse City. Projects vary and could be Commercial, Land Development, MDOT, Pipeline, etc..

　　MUST HAVES:

　　2 plus years in surveying

　　Construction Staking Experience

　　Design and/or Construction Layout experience

　　Trimble equipment knowledge (Total Station, GPS, Laser Scanners)

　　Trimble Access Software knowledge

　　Valid Driver's license and clean driving record

　　BONUS:

　　3 plus years as a Survey Crew Chief

　　Trimble Business Center Software knowledge

　　MDOT Survey experience

　　Boundary resolution experience

　　Civil 3D knowledge
