DESCRIPTION
Healthcare Management Solutions, LLC (HMS) has an immediate opening for a Survey & Certification (S&C) Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Technical Assistance Team. This is a remote position and is casual or Full-time. The SME should have experience and understanding of the Survey & Certification survey and administration processes, the regulations enforced, state agency operations, and the tools that are used to track the information.
Responsibilities:
Display excellent communication skills and be comfortable providing system and content demonstrations
Perform research tasks and present their findings a group of stakeholders
Have an understanding of the S&C systems, how they function within State Agencies and the S&C processes that these systems support
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Desired Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience working within a State Agency or a CMS office performing S&C work
Candidates should be familiar with federal CMS systems (e.g., ACO/ARO, ACTS, AEM, CASPER, ASPEN Web, etc.)
Knowledge of federal S&C regulations, requirements outlined in the SOM and CFR, and processes
Knowledge of CMS systems and/or working directly with S&C data is preferred
Knowledge of the ASPEN/iQIES systems or S&C data is preferred
In depth knowledge of the S&C regulations and processes a plus
Displaying an understanding of the S&C data and how it is used is also a plus
Minimum Education and Training Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
