　　Shifts: 32, 36 or 40 hours, Day/Evenings

　　Responsibilities:

　　•Works in a professional manner on a wide variety of surgical procedures

　　•Selects and prepares the appropriate supplies and equipment for the surgical cases

　　•Participates in surgery by organizing the instrumentation to the surgeon, participating in surgical counts, and performs related activities under the directions of the surgeon

　　•Assist the circulator, with positioning obtaining needed items during surgery, and assisting in room turnover activities

　　•Operates surgical equipment as needed

　　•Participate in operating room activities related to quality improvement, continuing education, orientation of new personnel and emergency preparedness

　　Qualifications:

　　•Certified Surgical Technologist

　　•Associates degree or Completion of Surgical Technician Certification Coursework required

　　•1-2 years’ experience working as a Surgical Technician (preferred)

　　LPN with Surgical Technician Certification/Experience
