　　The Surgical Tech will: * ensure operating rooms are ready for surgery, including all case-specific supplies and equipment are sterile and ready for use. * Monitor sterile field throughout procedure. * Scrub for cases, anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team. * Take initiative to utilize appropriate support services to resolve issues. * Position and transport patients. * Organize room cleanup and ensure efficient room turnover, including decontaminating equipment as necessary. * Coordinate outside vendors and trains others that work in the operating room as needed. Other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations in surgical services.

　　This is a part time (20 hours/week) 8 hour day shift (M-F) at Scripps Clinic in Carmel Valley.

　　* Required: * One year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program. * Excellent communication skills. * Basic computer skills. * Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment. * Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.

　　· Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required
