Responsibilities

Sugical Technician II will assists in patient care and preparation of surgical patients; performs scrub duties and related procedures; accountable for ensuring cleaning and maintenance of supplies and equipment for selected specialty. Performs in the advanced roles of preceptor, service specialist and instrument room liaison.

Qualifications

Educsation and Experience Required:

High School Diploma/GED

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/CSFA) required as of September 1, 2010 or "grandfathered" employees or LVN

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) with American Heart Association

Two (2) years of experience

** Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.

$18.74 - $25.77 /hour
