　　Description:

　　Serves as the primary contact for day-to-day operations of both Oelwein Family Medicine and Oelwein Urgent Care clinics. Coordinates the daily operations and responsible for both patient and provider flow within the clinic.

　　*Hours/Schedule: *  

　　1.0 FTE (80hrs/biweekly)

　　*Minimum Qualifications: *    

　　Graduate of an approved educational program of x-ray technology

　　American Registry of Radiological Technologists registered; must carry an Iowa Permit to Practice and maintain CEUs. BLS. Mandatory Reporter.

　　Position Highlights and Benefits  

　　Facilitates patient flow and physician productivity in clinics.

　　On a daily basis, demonstrates own presence or involvement in clinic as exhibited by interacting with physicians, patients and families as well as solving problems with the team.

　　Identifies and resolves patient and physician issues.

　　Identifies and removes barriers to physician productivity.

　　Modifies processes to improve services.

　　Performs variety of clinic staff duties as needed.

　　Works closely with clinic manager AND operations director in all areas of clinic operations.

　　Keeps director informed of programs, problems and issues.

　　Resolves problems independently and communicates.

　　Develops, implements and monitors a Quality Improvement Plan that is reviewed and revised annually or as needed for CQI.

　　Responds to customer complaints within 24-48 hours.

　　Follows up on incident reports and takes immediate action to events of major consequences.

　　Documents and takes action within 24 hours on potentially compensable events (i.e., accidents, professional errors, etc.).

　　Documents and reports unsafe conditions.

　　Demonstrates compliance with all licensing, accrediting, certification, and/or legal requirement
