You willmanage short to midterm material availability by working closely withour suppliers as well as our sourcing, planning & fulfillment,logistics, quality and production teams.This is a position with globalgrade 14This position reports to Supply Chain Manager - SystemDrivesYour responsibilities Secure material availability by proactivelymanaging the supply network Manage supplier performance (on timedelivery, quality, lead time) and resolve performance issues Build andmaintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a stable andreliable supply of materials Coordinate and monitor open purchaseorders, reschedule orders when needed Manage supplier buffers andoptimize ABB inventory Proactively work with Planning & Fulfillment tooptimize MRP(Material Requirements Planning) strategies and parameters(planning strategy, lot size, safety stock, reorder point, reschedulinglogic) Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholdersto provide updates on inventory status, delivery schedules and potentialissuesYour background Bachelor degree and 5 years of relevant workexperience or Associate degree and 7 years of relevant work experienceor High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of relevant work experiencerequired Travel up to 10% required Proficiency in using SAP or otherERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) software as well as MS Office Suiterequired Knowledge of assembly and manufacturing processes highlypreferred Strong data analytics with Continuous Improvement...
