  Position Responsibilities:

  Looking for an IT Business Analyst be part of Supply Chain Sustainability Digitization team. The ideal candidate would have served as a Business Analyst in their previous roles, working in the intersection with business and technology to document requirements, design new products, and set/improve KPIs.

  This individual will:

  Business analysis: Study and analyze the emerging regulatory space in sustainability and ESG, and document requirements for developing new digital platforms and solutions to meet regulatory compliance. Map said requirements into data attributes to assist in design of new products and tools.

  Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with business and legal to define capabilities and use-cases that meet regulatory requirements. Engage with the Product Owner and team to define product strategy and roadmap for implementation. Collaborate with internal and external technical peers (Product Managers, Enterprise Architects, Software Engineers, and Vendors) to design and validate technical approaches and designs. Develop relationships and maintain a knowledge of the ecosystem.

  Design Thinking and Research / Spikes: Evaluate emerging industry trends and technologies. Identify opportunities for business process and technology improvements to address gaps and assist in solution design. Plan and conduct ideation sessions and facilitate prioritization of relevant ideas. Seek continuous feedback, and facilitate research driven product decisions.

  Implementation and Delivery: Collaborate with vendors to design, develop, and maintain software pilots. Assist in estimation, systems testing, triage and debugging, track product and data quality metrics.

  Communication: Clearly communicate vision, strategy, and product roadmap to cross functional teams, senior leaders, and stakeholders to gain alignment. Grow subject matter expertise, provide guidance to other members on the team and detail our capabilities to help educate partners.

  Live and breathe Agile: Participate in Daily Standups, Story Mapping, Iteration Planning Meetings, Retrospectives, and Epics/Sub-Epics/Story Acceptance sessions. Create and prioritize a backlog to help build new features with required definition of ready and done in. Lead ceremonies that help define the work to be done, improve team process, and align the team to specific objectives. Ensure effective usage of Rally/Jira and derive meaningful insights from Rally/Jira like Velocity of team, throughput etc. to enable the team to go further. Partner with Product Owners and develop and as required execute test scenarios at various levels (functional, user acceptance) within Agile Framework.

  Required Skills/Experience:

  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, IT, or equivalent

  5+ years of experience in gathering and analyzing requirements and designing software prototypes to support product development.

  Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with a curiosity towards new technologies and a strong desire to learn so that the team may benefit. Proactive attitude and not afraid to ask questions.

  Ability to synthesize and visualize complex, ambiguous, or even conflicting concepts and translate them into a list of use-cases or data attributes, or an action plan for the team or organization.

  Ability to ensure a cohesive design within product groups and platforms by adhering to the Ford Design System running usability tests, creating open feedback forums, etc.

  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, building trust and driving success across skill teams (business and product) and leadership levels.

  Experience working with external partners, including industry experts & consortiums, for development and complex integration of industry standards and multi-party solutions.

  Ability to convey design requirements and specification details to the team.

  Ability to communicate how design incorporates both customer and business value.

  Experience with Design Thinking tools such as Figma, InVision, Miro, Balsamiq, etc.

  Produces research assets (journey maps, affinity walls, empathy maps, storyboards, personas, etc.) to capture learning and communicate the immersive customer experience with stakeholders.

  Willing to work on a highly collaborative team fulfilling different roles and fill gaps.

  High degree of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously.

  Experience working with Agile project management software such Jira or Rally.

  Good organizational and time management skills.

  Nice-to-Have Skills/Experience:

  Master’s degree in computer science or IT.

  Experience leading agile software development practices to solution delivery.

  Experience in cloud based development and operations (Azure/AWS/GCP/PCF).

  Experience working with CI/CD systems (e.g., Gitlab / Jenkins)

  Knowledge or prior experience in legal and regulatory space.
