　　The successful candidate will report to the Quality Manager and monitor the manufacturing and inspection processes within the facility.

　　The Role

　　Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Quality Roaming Inspector to work out of its brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Mesa.

　　The key responsibilities of this Quality Roaming Inspector include, but are not limited to:

　　Perform final inspection

　　Perform in-process inspection from pieces that came off the CNC during the production run

　　Identify and communicate problems as needed

　　Maintain all records associated with the product

　　Work in conjunction with engineers to provide feedback

　　Conduct continuous improvement activities

　　25 minutes from Phoenix, AZ

　　The Person

　　The key skills and qualities of a Quality Roaming Inspector at Amphenol Aerospace Operations:

　　Quality Inspection: proficient in the use of micrometers, calipers, height indicators, gage pins, pitch micrometers, and various special gages to ensure compliance with blueprints

　　Ability to understand and inspect to workmanship standards

　　Ability to run and interpret results on CMM or other optical measuring systems

　　Experience working in a machine shop environment

　　GD&T knowledge

　　Read and understand job layouts, blueprints, schematics and work from written job instructions on operations

　　Optical measurement: Ability to inspect and interpret Keyence and Nikon measuring microscope results

　　Intermediate computer skills

　　Knowledge of basic math and trigonometry
