Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess or obsolete stock. Implement inventory control strategies to reduce waste and ensure product freshness.Supplier Relations: Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms. Evaluate supplier performance and establish strong supplier relationships to ensure on-time deliveries and quality products.Demand Forecasting: Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast demand accurately. Adjust inventory levels and supply orders based on demand fluctuations.Order Processing: Manage order processing activities, ensuring orders are accurate, complete, and delivered on time. Coordinate with production and logistics teams to meet customer requirements.Logistics and Distribution: Oversee the transportation and distribution of products to various locations. Optimize shipping routes, carrier selection, and logistics processes for cost efficiency.Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality standards and compliance with industry regulations. Implement quality control measures to prevent issues in the supply chain.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions in supply or transportation. Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.Continuous Improvement: Implement lean and Six Sigma principles to streamline processes and reduce waste. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.Outside Storage Management: Evaluate the need for and manage external storage facilities. Ensure that external storage facilities meet safety and regulatory requirements. Coordinate inventory movement to and from outside storage to maintain optimal stock levels.Qualified candidates will have three years of experience with inventory, supply chain, and supervising others.
