Job Summary
Direct Sales is responsible for driving sales and services to new and/or existing customers through face-to-face or telephone contact to meet individual and organizational sales objectives.
Territory Management - Distribution is responsible for cold calling, prospecting and building relationships that will increase account penetration, revenue growth and customer satisfaction within a specified product line, business segment and/or geography. Focus areas will include driving new business as well as increasing penetration in existing accounts. Sells products and services that help facilitate patient care predominately through optimizing the supply chain and the selection and management of the products within.

Territory: This role will cover the west side of Texas. Ideal candidate location is in and around the Dallas metropolitan area.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for growth in customers both in and out of Cardinal Health distribution channelBuild relationships across all key stakeholders, including Supply Chain leadershipAlign on growth & selling strategies for Cardinal Health products and services across Acute selling teamsPartner closely with Service & Operations partners to exceed customer expectationsEstablish and lead business review process, including documentation & communication of financial and operational KPI’sIdentify pricing model that best meets the needs of the customerDevelop & maintain customer profile/attributes and distribution pipeline in CRMCollaborate & coordinate with the Business Development team on identified opportunitiesDevelop conversion & substitution strategySupport product team through trials and conversionsSupport ongoing improvement of group strategies, including segmentation and targeting criteria, program and offering development, and organizational effectiveness.Coordination of the communication to internal Cardinal Health leadership stakeholders on a consistent basisQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum of 5 years sales and/or marketing experience in healthcare/medical product and services industry preferredAbility to travel up to 30%Demonstrated financial acumen, including strategic and analytical skillsStrong background in selling situations, and ability to cultivate and maintain executive relationshipsProven success selling diversified product solution and servicesDemonstrated ability to manage customer expectationsDemonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through othersAbility to analyze business issues and lead the development of customized action plans to drive value for the customer and Cardinal HealthAbility to develop and expand relationships with key stakeholders in order to achieve business objectivesStrong cross-organizational collaboration skills; ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environmentExcellent organizational skillsDemonstrated success in complex negotiationsStrong knowledge of hospital and healthcare economicsOutstanding communication and presentation skillsMust have a valid driver’s licenseAnticipated pay range: $169,300 - $206,600 includes targeted variable pay
