  Supply Chain Planning Analyst II, Beverage RM

  The Supply Chain Planning Analyst 2, Beverage Raw Materials is a key member of the Supply Chain Planning organization supporting beverage manufacturing. The analyst is responsible for ensuring that the raw materials supply chain is continuously maintained, reducing spend and improving service. They are also responsible for driving efficiency and optimization in the raw material planning processes by analyzing and enhancing existing procedures, implementing best practices, and spearheading automation and cost optimization initiatives. These responsibilities go beyond traditional supply chain management to improve overall supply chain performance.

  Essential Functions

  Analyze network inventory and demand for components to drive and execute purchasing decisions over a 90 day horizon.

  Partner with IT teams in implementing projects and setting up the EDI for suppliers for automating the PO communications.

  Create business process automation tools to streamline time-consuming repetitive tasks, such as data entry, report generation, and workflow management by leveraging technologies such as PowerAutomate and python

  Collaborate with planning leadership to facilitate brainstorming sessions to identify new metrics that can provide greater transparency into team's performance.

  Support Change management efforts by creating SOPs, conducting user training sessions, track and periodically report success metrics for improvement initiatives.

  Perform root cause analysis to understand the reasons behind supply chain inefficiencies such as scrap, excess inventory, supply failures and propose data-driven cost solutions.

  Development of supplier inventory plans and inventory policies that ensure supply continuity, minimize mutual total cost, and mitigate risk

  Build supplier relations through frequent interactions with supplier base, incorporating supplier feedback into processes as warranted. Act as liaison between internal teams and vendor teams

  Work with Sales, Forecasting and Master Planning to align on new item introductions, forecast opportunities, production updates, and other areas

  Work with suppliers to establish VMI process and practices inclusive of IT infrastructure to support

  Minimize corporate driven scrap and manage network coordination of raw material utilization through MRP team

  Develop annual supplier-specific sourcing plan, including alignment on supplier inventory build plan

  Ensure that all follow-ups are completed in a timely manner and that all communications are addressed within one business day

  Develop processes for data management and data continuity across teams. Ensure that all data is maintained and reported in a timely manner to ensure supply continuity

  Assess new purchasing and MRP platforms, methods, and technologies

  Track and develop metrics to assess adherence to goals for purchasing team

  Qualifications

  Minimum Qualifications:

  2 Years – Experience in Purchasing, MRP, Procurement, Planning or similar function

  2 Years – Experience in Position

  0 Years – Experience managing people/projects

  Travels approximately 10%

  Preferred Qualifications:

  4 Years – Experience in Purchasing, MRP, Procurement, Planning, or similar function

  Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with strong grasp of Microsoft Excel

  Education

  Minimum Required:

  Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance or Manufacturing

  Preferred:

  Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance or Manufacturing

  Certification/License:

  Required: N/A

  Preferred: Excel, database development, Six Sigma

  Foreign Language

  Required: None Required

  Preferred: Elementary Proficiency in Spanish

  Typical Compensation Range

  Pay Rate Type: Salary

  $77,796.00 - $112,805.00 / Yearly
