  About the role

  The Supply Chain Manager role is a critically important leader who owns and oversees the entire Supply Chain lifecycle within the manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for overseeing the receiving of raw materials from suppliers, the inventory of supplies, the manufacturing schedule, and the transportation of goods to our customers. Keeping track of the materials and logistics, and updating the inventory is a core responsibility. Problem-solving and collaboration to resolve issues is also necessary. The Supply Chain Manager will manage both a direct and indirect team.

  Key Responsibilities

  Responsible for the site supply chain strategy including warehouse operations to support operational and business goals

  Provide leadership and direction to ensure all supply chain processes are consistent with company policies and expectations

  Fully develop team members of their ability while maintaining positive engagement

  Prepare supply plans aligning with strategic decisions made via the Sales and Operational Planning process as well as execution of those strategic planning initiatives

  Establish planning control check points and processes to drive and uphold commitment & supply integrity of both raw material and finished products

  Ensure the right capabilities are in place to supply and deliver products as ordered on time and in full/OTIF.

  Owner of supply chain KPI and accountable for its delivery performance. KPI would be centered around meeting the highest of service to customers whilst optimizing inventory and eliminating slow moving stock exposures.

  Serve as a highly motivated leader and quick thinker that possess the ability to interact with a host of different personalities

  Develop, implement, manage and maintain a robust and end to end production and raw material planning process.

  Ensure material orders, inventories, production plans are properly managed including close monitoring of excess, slow moving and aging raw materials and finished products.

  Work closely with the Procurement on all raw material forecasting and contract requirements to material can be ordered without delay

  Effectively model and promote the company values.

  Qualifications and Skills

  Candidate will have a deep Supply Chain Planning background combined with the ability to think logically in a fast-paced environment

  Food Manufacturing Plant experience preferred

  SAP ERP functionality and system knowledge is highly desirable

  Degree in Supply Chain and/or a Business / Commercial discipline

  Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that exemplify the highest level of professionalism in both internal and external environments.

  Strong organization and time management skills

  Strong problem-solving skills; the ability to ask the right questions, help frame logical conclusions and arrive at effective solutions

  Possess planning and analytical skills and be able to take complex issues and break down actions for resolutions whilst working against tight deadlines

  Have a strong business understanding and insight as well as an open nature and collaborative mind-set that enable you to work with people from different backgrounds and levels

  Able to participate, influence and (on occasion) lead cross-functional site teams; Ability to work well with teams. Develop relationships inside and outside the organization to enhance personal and company effectiveness.
