SUMMARY:
The Brand Manager is responsible for management of the businessactivities for the brand and has total responsibility to manage budgetand PL to meet company objectives for Annual Operating Plan and LongRange Planning process. This role develops and/or collaborates on longand short-term strategies, marketing plans, new products, packaging,advertising, and sales promotion programs that will achieve corporateprofit, volume, and share objectives.
Responsibilities
PL ownership for the assigned Brands/Categories includingsubmitting business plans that define success for your area ofownershipManage your team to accomplish set financial/volumetric goals foryour assigned categoryCreate share growth strategy and tactics for assignedBrands/CategoriesDefine desired product quality and ensure specs drive desiredqualityAssist with the Strategic Planning process and thedevelopment/execution of Growth Strategies and the Annual MarketingPlans for assigned Brands/CategoriesLead Quantitative and Qualitative Brand/Category performanceanalysis in support of the weekly and monthly business reviews withSVP for the assigned categories, provide detailed analysis usinganalytic resources for assigned Businesses/CategoriesBuild and execute pricing strategy for assigned CategoriesCollaborate with and leverage Insight Intel teamLead Cross Functional Team projects (Insights, Finance, Operations,Demand Planning, S,SP, Innovation, RD, and Shopper Marketing) insupport of Category objectives ; lead cross functional team projects(as assigned)Support the development of Marketing Tactics to support the BrandStrategyDevelop and maintain Competitive Intelligence documentsManage the process of identifying industry and consumer trends;manage proprietary research projects, mine and analyze secondarydata to spot trends and insights in support of defined strategiesSeek opportunities for personal development and proactively identifyways to add value to Business Unit teamsOther duties as assigned.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similarfield preferred7-8 years of experience in business management, preferred and/or MBAPL Management and Ownership and/or Brand Growth experience in thefood industry, specifically in protein preferredRelocation Assistance Eligible:
