  DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:We have an outstanding opportunity for a leader for our Supply Chain organization for our National Security Space and Defense business located onsite in our Danbury, CT facility. Located in beautiful Fairfield County, Danbury offers a diverse economy, wonderful parks, cultural attractions, an impressive mix of private and public educational institutions and a vibrant arts scene.   Position Overview:The Supply Chain lead is responsible for providing strategic and tactical leadership for the supply chain organization to include directing, planning, integrating, and controlling the functional resources that execute the procurement and receipt of goods and services for the business. The position is responsible for meeting customer and program commitments and ensuring compliance with all government regulations.

  Key responsibilities:* Lead, monitor and control the acquisition process including but not limited to the support of requirements definition, capture strategy, proposal generation, proposal evaluations, source selections, negotiations, material requirements definition, material procurement strategy and file documentation.* Ensure compliance to all internal and Government FAR/DFAR/DPAS/CPSR/ITAR/ITC procurement regulations, change management, invoice approvals, dispute resolution, and close-out activities.* Define, quantify, and effectively manage risk exposure (Schedule and Cost).* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) system in compliance with company and DoD standards.* Identify and implement supply chain transformation and improvement projects to drive best-in-class supply chain processes and efficiencies.* Develop, train, and motivate Supply Chain team to optimize talent and drive efficiencies.* Establish and manage relationships with key/critical suppliers to achieve best-in-class supplier performance.* Meet operating goals for cash flow, accounts receivable, working capital and operating income through negotiation results and effective supplier management while developing mechanisms and resolutions to meet goals.* Represent the company internally and externally with suppliers and customers in all assigned matters with a high level of competence, professionalism, integrity, and credibility.* Collaborate across the greater organization to drive overall best in class supply chain performance.
