　　Job Description

　　Management of continuous improvement projects within the supply chain department. The projects will aim to improve the current performance of the supply chain organization.

　　Involvement in all the SCH departments: Procurement, Production Planning, Shipping and Receiving, Warehouse.

　　Interactions with multiple other departments: central Supply Chain (at Headquarter), operation, quality, program management ...

　　Example of project:

　　implementation of vertical storage units

　　automated shortage reporting & supplier notification

　　development of a portal (AirSupply) to automate communication with suppliers

　　time studies and development of an internal load & capacity model

　　Complementary Description

　　The VIE will be fully immerged in the Supply Chain activities and rituals.

　　The VIE will work directly with the Supply Chain Manager and the Supply Chain team leads.

　　The VIE will be trained on project management methods and tools.

　　Job Requirements

　　Preferred experience in a manufacturing industry: aerospace, car, oil and gas, heavy industry.

　　Preferred experience in supply chain, industrial engineering.

　　Knowledge of MS Office, VBA programming (basics) and PowerBI are preferred.

　　Specificity of the job

　　Limited travels can be required to visit the headquarter near Paris France, other Safran landing Systems facilities and North American suppliers.
