Supplier Quality Specialist Role at PDS Tech Commercial Inc in Stuart, FL

　　PDS Tech Commercial Inc is currently seeking experienced Supplier Quality Specialists for a critical role in Stuart, FL. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in aerospace quality control and a keen eye for detail.

　　Position Details:

　　Role: Supplier Quality Specialist

　　Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Consultant Role

　　Location: Stuart, FL 34996

　　Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2nd Shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM). Must be flexible to work any shift. Overtime potential.

　　Compensation: $41.67 - $46.30 per hour

　　Job Responsibilities:

　　Lead audits and assessments of suppliers’ systems, processes, and products.

　　Document and report audit results; delegate product acceptance to suppliers.

　　Evaluate suppliers' capability and capacity for current and future projects.

　　Provide education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance, and company initiatives.

　　Develop training materials to enhance supplier performance and productivity.

　　Participate in recovery efforts, requiring patience and teaching skills.

　　Ideal Candidates:

　　Experience with Boeing or similar aerospace companies.

　　Familiar with aerospace industry terms, systems, and approaches.

　　Previous roles at companies like Boeing, Spirit Aerosystems, Leonardo DRS, RUAG, Airbus, Collins Aerospace advantageous.

　　Project/Day-to-Day Activities:

　　Assess manufacturing processes like sealing, hole preparation, painting, and inspecting large composite structures.

　　Determine product acceptance using company standards.

　　Collaborate with source inspection teams for inquiries and corrective actions.

　　Employ problem-solving models for effective solutions.

　　Key Technical/Software Skills:

　　Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and recording.

　　Familiarity with Supplier Quality Information Systems (SQIS) for corrective action requests.

　　Experience in inspecting large composite structures.

　　Capability to set up and run Webex calls with senior leaders, communicating technical issues effectively.

　　Regular creation of PowerPoint presentations and slide decks using Excel data.

　　Previous experience as a Supplier Quality Representative (SQR) and SQIS knowledge is a significant advantage.
