Description

　　Supplier Quality Manager is in charge of Amazon hardware device electro mechanical commodities suppliers’ processes development and quality management, covering speaker, MIC, PCB, FPCA, antenna, wireless charger, motor and etc. The key responsibilities include new supplier qualification and capability development, components design review, process setup and continuously improvement, new technologies study and application, technical and quality issues solving, and drive suppliers continuously provide high quality parts.

　　• Supporting new supplier audit.

　　• Supporting regular process and quality audit.

　　• Drive supplier process and quality improvement.

　　Project quality management

　　• Supporting new part design for manufacture.

　　• Supporting new process setup and development.

　　• In NPI phase process line audit and build quality performance management.

　　• Process and quality related issue solving and support.

　　Others

　　• Local supporting cross functional team in design, technical and quality related work.

　　• Supporting quality system and procedure build up and improvement.

　　• Supporting CM IQC setup and return parts quality issues analysis.

　　A day in the life

　　SQM play important role in Amazon hardware device development.

　　SQM are a very important bridge in value adding chain, connecting suppliers and Amazon or CM design team together, providing value added in design optimization, process selection and setup.

　　SQM are firefighters when issue happened, aim to solve the issues in short time with root cause clearly, furthermore, we focus on risks and potential issues prevention.

　　SQM cooperate with purchasing team, and continuously provide high quality parts to CM factories, and warmly hear feedback and continuously improve.

　　About the team

　　Electro mechanical SQM team aim to build and develop robust supplier chain to continuously provide high quality parts for Amazon hardware team. We create the Amazon and supplier win-win solution to create value adding in entire supplier chain.

　　We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

　　Hanoi, HN, VNM

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Education, certification and experience

　　• Bachelor in Electronics, mechanical, chemical or manufacturing preferred.

　　• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a consumer electronics manufacture parts factories design, process, or quality related role.

　　• Familiar with one of the following parts manufacture, including speaker, PCB, FPCA, antenna, motor.

　　Technical capability

　　• Technical background in manufacturing or quality management.

　　• Good quality system and tools understanding and application.

　　• Strong ability to lead supplier qualification and process validation, supplier development and new project launch, trouble shooting and quality improvement.

　　• Able to understand how to read and interpret engineering documents. Ability to identify CTQ/CTP in products and process.

　　• Has good capability of process problem solving with appropriate tools.

　　• Have capability to manage multiple development programs in parallel.

　　Soft Skill

　　• Able to discuss technical topics in both Chinese and English.

　　• Able to work independently on-site at suppliers and travel as needed.

　　• Self-motivated, passion for work, highly committed and disciplined.

　　• Result oriented, with strong sense of ownership and sense of urgency.

　　• Strong self-learning capability and willing to take challenge and jump out of the comfort zone.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Quality knowledge & tools

　　• Solid understanding in statistical tools, such as hypothesis-testing and SPC.

　　• Able to use Minitab or JMP.

　　• Able to code with Excel VBA, Python, or Java script.

　　• Has good Machine learning application experience.

　　• ASQ GB/BB/CQE/CMQ or equivalent qualified.

　　Technical skills and experience.

　　• Has good SMT application experience.

　　• Has good antenna and RF related knowledge.

　　• Has good speaker tunning, design, manufacture or testing related knowledge.

　　• Has good stamping, molding, plating, CNC related knowledge.

　　• Has good understanding and application of IPC-A-600/610/6012/6013, GD/T.
