Supplier Quality Engineer II - St. Jude Medical, (an Abbott Labs co.) | Ramsey County Responsible for application of quality principles and complex analysis of quality records, reports to form recommendations for improvements. Conduct inspection, verification and validation of components or materials used in development processes. Identify and address recurring problems either with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures. Responsible for documenting quality issues and performance measures for management review. Responsible for performing Minitab analyses, first article inspections, and determining the appropriate tools or equipment for use. Responsible for drafting reports, performing data analysis and planning presentations utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Manage bracketing, investigation, resolution planning, implementation, and verification of effectiveness for both internal and supplier issues utilizing knowledge of the CAPA process. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of EPIQ system, processing of non-conformances, and managing approved suppliers using SAP. Perform change orders for inspection documents using Windchill Project lifecycle Management (PLM). Responsible for managing supplier changes and assessments. Responsible for understanding the requirements for qualification of change and their regulatory impact. Bachelor s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or in a related engineering field of study with at least 3 years of related experience in: (i) performing Minitab analyses, first article inspections, and determining the appropriate tools or equipment for use; (ii) drafting reports, performing data analysis and planning presentations utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); (iii) managing bracketing, investigation, resolution planning, implementation, and verification of effectiveness for both internal and supplier issues utilizing knowledge of the CAPA process; (iv) EPIQ system, processing of non-conformances, and managing approved suppliers using SAP; and (v) performing change orders for inspection documents using Windchill Project Lifecycle Management (PLM).
