TheSupplier Quality & Development Organization is responsible for securingthe best performing supply base in quality, reliability, and safety. In thisrole you will be directly supporting the Project Entity organization byensuring suppliers are adhering to Siemens Energy requirements during normalproject execution.
How You’ll Make an Impact
● Establishappropriate quality control of delivered goods and services according to supplierand product risks.
● Performsupplier oversight and product inspections for regular project execution.Inspection types include dimensional, weld, coating, etc.
● Providetechnical support for material or product and elaborate specifications.
● Identifyand initiate containment on any identified non-conformances. Follow-up withcorrective action as necessary. Communicate to supplier and relevant internalstakeholders.
● Evaluateand report on supplier performance and supports implementation of effectivemeasures.
● Participatein quality meetings with suppliers and relevant internal stakeholders.
● Providereports to Project Management on status of orders with responsible suppliers.
● Managevarious Supplier Quality & Development tools and databases. Ensure dataquality and transparency.
What You Bring
● You havea bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrialengineering or a similar discipline. Equivalent combination of education,training, and experience will be considered.
● 0 to 5 years preferred professional experience in a supplier quality management, procurement,or quality management.
● Joblevel can be adjusted based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
● You haveexperience supporting ramp up and serial production by appropriate qualityassurance measures for materials, products, and services from suppliers.
● You are comfortablein ensuring suppliers comply with all applicable contract terms,specifications, etc.
● You arefamiliar with Quality fundamentals and familiar with ISO 9001. ISO 9001 LeadAuditor certification is a plus.
● You haveextensive knowledge in welding and coating. CWI certification preferred. NACE(AMPP / FROSIO) certification preferred.
● You arefamiliar with ASME BPV & Piping and AWS D1.1 code requirements.
● You area self-starter, determined and self-reliant; your organization, strategic, analytical,leadership skills and intercultural expertise round up your profile.
● You are comfortable and proficientworking with a variety of databases, reporting and other digital tools.
● Willingnessto travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time. Must haveor be able to obtain a passport.
