　　Job Summary:The Operations and Supply Chain organization has an opportunity for a talented professional to join our team in a critical Supplier Engineering role within who will be involved in all aspects of planning and executing the production of our wide range of weapon systems, from tactical missiles to strategic defense products. You will provide technical knowledge & process capability expertise to improve supplier performance. You will be involved in all phases of product life cycles, beginning with proposal development, new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives and continuing through production implementation. You will ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the supplier technical performance meets the objectives of quality, cost and schedule. You will drive Raytheon design requirements to improve manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers. You will initiate continuous and measurable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability.

　　This is a hybrid position located in Tucson, Arizona. It will require domestic travel to support supplier factories.

　　Responsibilities to Anticipate:Communicate and translate the technical data package to suppliersConduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and riskPerform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysisManage supplier requests for product and process changesManage product non-conformances; Drive root cause and corrective actionPrioritize and execute improvement opportunitiesCommunicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholdersSupport travel as needed

　　Basic Qualifications:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.Current and active U.S. government issued security clearance is required

　　U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

　　Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Manufacturing Engineering is strongly preferred.

　　The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
