Responsibilities Responsible for provision of general supply and support services to the operating level activities within the assigned Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC). Oversees purchasing, receiving, storage and issuing of all food, retail and all beverage products. Provides security and quality control for the storage and care of unit inventories (i.e., resale, food) and its related systems and procedures on receiving, storage, and issue. Assures adequate documentation and stock levels for normal and special needs. Verifies deliveries and inventory levels, and assures product protection and accessibility. Plans and establishes general workflow, methods, and schedules. Exercise budget and fiscal responsibilities. Forecasts food requirements for operations with special emphasis on peak periods and holiday events. Maintains relationships with all vendors. Includes Prime Vendor, DECA, AAFES and local vendors to include beverage alcohol, bakery and produce vendors. Maintains inventory accountability over products held by the ELR property at all locations. Warehousing duties involve the responsibility for establishing standard operating procedures, implementation of regulatory policies and operating all warehousing activities for the assigned AFRC's supplies and equipment. Serves as accountable officer for NAF property to include the management of all NAF fixed assets, buildings, vehicles and expendable property, equipment and supplies. Responsible for program planning, execution and coordination of the supply program. Performs the full range of supervisory personnel management duties for lower graded employees. Proficiency in the German language required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level. Qualification requirements: Demonstrated ability and experience/education to perform the level of the duties to be performed. Highly qualified candidates will have proficiency in the German language.
