About the Position: Incumbent is a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist and Army Materiel Command Staff Manager for the Army Prepositioned Stock programs. Responsibilities Exercise the full range of supervisory personnel management and authority in directing a staff of civilian and military personnel. Plan work to be accomplished, interpret policy and procedures, establish priorities to ensure the quality of the work, and ensure that the work is pursuant to established schedules and milestones. Develop policy, plans, procedures, and functional directives. Coordinates new and revised planning concepts. Serves as chairperson and/or spokesperson on service committees and study groups engaged in planning, developing, and implementing plans. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
