As a Process Maintenance Mechanical Supervisor you will be responsible for leading a team of permanent personnel and business partners to safely, efficiently, and effectively complete all maintenance and servicing of mechanical equipment installed in the Process Plant.
This position will have a focus on a specific area of the Boddington Process Plant such as Gyratory Crushers, Cone Crushers or HPGRs, however involvement in other areas is required for coverage.

The Role
Provide leadership, technical direction and mentoring to a team of maintenance trades people. This will include formulating and maintenance of skill matrices and facilitating the development of team members through regular performance appraisal and feedback sessions.
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with safe work procedures processes and systems. Where such procedures may not exist facilitate their development.
Ensure hazards within the maintenance workplace and the process plant are identified and addressed.
Liaise with the planning, operational and other maintenance teams to establish an agreed schedule of work to be completed.
Organise for the completion of scheduled work (and work backlog) utilising both internal and external resources as required. Ensuring the maintenance plan is efficiently carried out.
Prioritise and manage the completion of unscheduled work in an efficient manner so that impact on the operation is minimised.
Leading, developing and mentoring a group of maintenance trades people to complete quality work safely and efficiently.
Review equipment maintenance strategies and revise as required to address underperforming or high-cost equipment.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the performance of plant, processes or people. Prioritise and implement plans to capture opportunities.
Prepare budgets and forecasts for work group activities. Complete all works with reference to budget, provide analysis of expended costs against budget.
Produce KPI’s and reports on work group activities.
About you
You will hold a Mechanical Trade Qualification and have significant post trade experience including time in a Maintenance Supervisory position. Your knowledge of maintenance and work management processes in a complex processing or heavy industrial plant will be requisite to your success in this position. Experienced with managing maintenance work utilising a CMMS system and developing maintenance budgets, you will be an efficient communicator who is self-driven, organised, and an accountable leader with the capability to simultaneously handle multiple complex tasks.
