About SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST

  Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST in the COMMAND ADVISORY DEPARTMENT of COMPACFLT HRO NORTHWEST. Responsibilities You will supervise a division of 12-15 Human Resources Specialists and Assistants who provide technical guidance on staffing, recruitment, classification, compensation, and position management. You will serve as a strategic advisor and subject matter expert with independent responsibility for resolving controversial and/or complex issues. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement innovative human resources solutions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing human resources programs such as staffing, recruitment, classification, compensation, and/or position management to provide technical advisory services including developing strategies to resolve recruitment, retention, classification, position management, and/or compensation issues. PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation. Eligible DoD career or career conditional employees shall be granted statutory return rights to their former position for a period of 5 years if continuously employed in a foreign or non-foreign area provided by Executive Order 10895 and DoDI 1400.25, v 1230. Employees that do not exercise their return rights within five years are no longer eligible for return rights and will be treated as a local hire. Pay retention or highest previous rate may be granted when certain conditions are met.
