Summary About the Position: This position is with the Army Reserve Aviation Command, Aviation Support Facility Cavazos West (Rotary Wing) located at Fort Cavazos, Texas. Responsibilities Serve as a Supervisory Aircraft Pilot for the United States Aviation Support Facility (ASF). Establish work schedules and priorities for subordinates based on workload. Provide training support in all phases of aviation unit operations, aircraft maintenance and supply functions. Formulate, standardize, and implement comprehensive flight standardization, evaluation and training programs. Responsible for the operation of the USAR Aviation Support Facility for the Army Reserve Aviation Command. Specialized experience includes: Performing various aviator duties, such as: Pilot, Copilot, Pilot in Command (PI), Instructor Pilot (IP), Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP), Instrument Flight Examiner (IE), Maintenance Test Pilot (MO), or Maintenance Test Pilot Examiner (ME); establishing work schedules, determining priorities, delegating responsibilities, providing feedback to employees, and setting performance standards; assisting with operational budgetary requirements; and providing training in all phases of aviation unit operations, aircraft maintenance and supply functions.
