Coordinates the service and cleaning of busoperations revenue and non-revenue vehicles. This is a safety sensitiveposition subject to the rules of the RTD Drug and Alcohol Policy.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:ESSENTIAL:Recruits staff to include interviewing, hiring, scheduling, assigningwork, training, coaching, and counseling to ensure consistentapplication of Employee Guidelines, processes, and procedures. Conductsperformance review, and holds employees accountable for performance of theirreImplements and maintains preventative maintenance programs and monitorsservice and cleaning activities through Maximus programs and other trackingsystems. Inspects buses for quality assurance and monitors adherence to allprocedures.Conducts scheduled inspections of work area to ensure fleet equipment,inventory and facilities are maintained in clean, safe and functionaloperating condition.Schedules bus movement to support General Repair Operations.Coordinates, with General Repair, the scheduling of buses for allscheduled service and cleaning preventative maintenance items.Ensures compliance with Local, State and Federal regulations.
OTHER:Provides relief coverage for General Repair Supervisor/Storeroom Supervisoras needed.All other job-related duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent.A minimum of three years of experience in a position dealing with theservice/cleaning function.A minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory position preferred.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.Ability to use sound judgment and effectively operate in a team environment.Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning,organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.Ability to learn to navigate in Oracle and Maximus within three months inorder to perform assigned tasks.
