HealthPartners is currently hiring for a Supervisor, Research Project Management. The supervisor sits within the HealthPartners Community Research Department and carries a wide range of responsibilities with internal, industry and federally funded research studies. This position supervises a small but growing team of research specialists, coordinators, and eventually, project managers. The Research Project Manager Supervisor is responsible for the project management of complex projects and orchestrating the activities of project team members. This person takes a leadership role in guiding resource allocation and strategies in or across projects, with the supervision of a Principal Investigator. The supervisor is responsible for managing daily tasks, on-site troubleshooting, and hiring, onboarding, and training of their team. The Research Project Manager Supervisor also takes the initiative to contribute to the operational excellence and success of the Research Project Management Office. This position requires a master's degree, with 8 or more years of experience in managing complex projects, including extensive experience managing projects in a research setting. Knowledge of EPIC research, Clinical Conductor, REDCap software will be highly valued. The successful candidate for this position will have experience managing federally funded grants and contracts and will have supervisory experience. Additionally, they will have experience with implementing and managing clinical research studies. Competitive candidates will have demonstrated success in many or all of the following areas: managing federal grants, clinical trials, budgets, developing and refining IRB applications and human subject materials, effective communication, developing agendas, meeting minutes, managing relationships, and guiding legal agreements and contracts processes. An additional preferred strength is the ability to contribute to team discussions about clinical decisions, research methods and manuscript development. Candidates must also have experience with planning resources for areas of studies requiring specific and in-depth expertise. The supervisor will typically work between the hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday when on site.
